more colour, please.
Permission to live a little?
Last week, we spoke about releasing pressure and blooming. I feel it is the perfect segue into this finale. Over the past three months we have discussed a variety of topics but the baseline has been clear, evolution.
When I started CosyHomebody in 2022, it was simply a collection of cosy visuals with the goal to encourage rest and relaxation. As time went on and life introduced some curve balls, my perspective shifted. Don’t get me wrong, I still and will always enjoy a scented candle and a cosy set up, it is embedded in my DNA. But my recent experiences have introduced another layer of life. As it should. There is a call within me to flow outward and I am inclined to answer.
I strongly believe the catalyst for this shift is the third decade. Being in your 30s forces you to embrace some changes – both welcome and unwelcome – and I have decided to flow with mine. To live life unconfined, to give myself freedom to explore topics and interests outside wellness.
Just like your favourite tv shows come in seasons, the journey of womanhood mirrors the same pattern. So, I am off to live a little. To visit the art galleries, to sit in the cafes and daydream, to write in the park whilst being kissed by the sun, to enjoy the cosy nights at home and get lost in the pages of a really good book, to experience life in full colour. And I extend an invitation for you to do the same.
I truly hope you have enjoyed this series, your 30’s redefined. If you want other conversations from me, you can find me on cnctheory.substack.com.
Love, C.
